Events

A Night Under the Stars

Our favorite springtime event is San Saba’s annual Night at the Museum. The theme changes annually, but you can always expect a fun-filled, family-centric event that blends San Saba traditions new and old with activities that are as educational as they are fascinating! We gather ‘round a campfire for dinner, tell stories, explore our history and the lives of 1800s pioneers, celebrate our county museum, and shoot fireworks!

Christmas Extravaganza

Small town Christmases are the best and we are proud of our Texas-sized yuletide cheer. The Extravaganza is held annually in December and brings the community together for a night of holiday programming. Bring the whole family to revel in Christmas carols sung by our choir, our lighted Christmas parade, and marvel at more than one million dancing lights in Mill Pond Park. We also have visitors from the North Pole, Santa’s Workshop, and goodies and activities for the kiddos!

Sip n' Stroll

Sip n’ Stroll is our favorite event of the year! Held in December, this annual gathering celebrates our favorite things: wine, community, cheer and shopping locally! Each year, local businesses host visiting wineries, offer snacks and specials on Christmas shopping. It’s a great night for all!

San Saba Pro Rodeo Days

The San Saba Pro Rodeo Days and Parade take place in the Rodeo Arena and Downtown San Saba respectively. It is a San Saba tradition that doesn’t disappoint. For more information, visit the Calendar of Events or prorodeousa.com
