We’ve got just two weeks left until Christmas, and the holidays are in full, merry swing up in San Saba.  It’s the time of year to make lists, check them twice and fill the stockings of your loved ones! And, what better way to shop than with wine?

Our annual Sip n’ Stroll is coming up this weekend and (sorry, fellas) that means shopping! San Saba’s wonderful local businesses will be hosting Texas wineries for a spirited night of community and cheer! It is  It is the perfect time to raise your glass and put a big dent in that holiday shopping! These are a few of our favorite gifts!

San Saba Soap Company

We’ve been lucky enough to lather up with San Saba Soap Company’s luscious soaps for a few years now. Good news! Thanks to their new store front, so can you this Christmas! The soap maker, Marcus Hollley, combines locally-sourced plants, oils and goat’s milk with Brazilian essential oils to create pure magic!

Their soaps are all-natural and come in a variety of lovely scents like lemongrass lavender, pink clay and tobacco bloom, activated charcoal with holy basil, brown sugar texas fig, and more! Their Field and Flower collection is a line of six intoxicating salt soaks with dried flowers, herbs, teas and blended with essential oils. And, they also carry essential oil blends, facial teas, body polish and face-beard oil. Stop in, breathe deep and soap up!

Harry’s Boots has five [cavernous] rooms of leather-scented treasures for everyone. Maybe it’s the first pair of boots for the kiddo. Maybe it’s a fashion-forward cape for your mother. Maybe it’s a custom hat for the cowboy who’s boot bag is full. Whether the cowboys and cowgirls in your life are fashionistas or into functionality, Harry’s Boots is a sure bet for gifts! We’ve got bushels of tasty pecan treats for Santa and all the foodie lovers in your life! Our famous pecan pies, pecan goodies and other treats are perfect hostess gifts for the season. Sample your way through the offerings at Alamo Pecan, Oliver & Co., Millican Pecan Company, and San Saba Olive Oil Company. Don’t miss the chocolate bourbon or the german chocolate pecan pies which are the perfect addition to any holiday feast.

Something we give over and over again, is San Saba’s Pecan Pie in a Jar. Regardless of gifting intent – whether it’s meant to be a stocking stuffer, hostess gift, baking hack, or to be eaten with a spoon on a cold night next to the fire – everyone raves about this little jar of gooey delight. Bonus: you get to skip the line at Williams Sonoma. If you plan to make a traditional pie with the filling, mix three to four eggs and four tablespoons of butter with the filling and add it to the crust of your choice (bourbon optional, we don’t judge). Voila, your pecan pie is ready to pop into the oven.

Madeleine & Me is having a huge sale on their entire inventory of home goods and gifts! You can also shop unique gifts, candles and maybe get her that new washer she’s been dreaming of over at Everett’s Furniture & Emporium.
